            Design

Krown Rasta City SurfThe Krown Rasta City Surf Longboard has a memorable look all the way from tip to tail. It has a pintail shape to it, and the unique Rasta lion with Jamaican flag and the iconic Krown logo design on the bottom of the deck are gorgeous and shiny under the laminate.  You will want to do your best to keep from banging that up on the sidewalk with how great it looks, but at the same time, you will want to do all the grabs just to show it off.

The design incorporates several features to make it an easy to use, maneuverable longboard. It has a kick tail for easy dismount and to change to carrying it into a building.  It is a pintail style board, perfect for cruising and carving along city streets. This deck is higher off the ground, giving it great ability to perform grabs and tricks for the advanced rider.

The standard design features of the board include the following:

            ABEC-5 Bearings

These boards also have an ABEC rating of 5 which means they are average performing when it comes speed and precision

            6-inch aluminum alloy trucks

            Black 71mm 78a wheels

Krown Rasta City Surf 2The 78mm is a mid-range diameter wheel, giving it equal speed, and acceleration.  These black wheels are made from Polyurethane like almost all skateboard wheels. The Krown Rasta City Surf Longboard is a stable board. Its drop-through design gives it a high profile closer to the ground thus leading to greater stability when you are learning or cruising. The Canadian maple material used in the board ensures there isn’t much flex and that makes this an ideal board to cruise on.

            Control

The high profile trucks and pintail design of this board give the rider quicker turns and great acceleration for cruising. This board will excel at commuting, but keep in mind it will be a little tougher to push than some boards.

            Speed

Krown Rasta City Surf 3This is not a speed board; rather a board made for tricks and cruising. The bearings are of average rating, meaning that it will get enough speed for a jump, but not necessarily for downhill longboarding. If you wanted to turn this into a speed board, you would have to make some serious modifications, such as longer trucks, higher rated bearings, and softer wheels.

            Durability

The multi-ply layers of maple in this board give it strength and the total design of the board allows it to last for a long time and through many rides.  It does not scuff up or crack easily, able to endure more than its fair share of falls and crashes. The durability of the deck and hardware of this board greatly depends on how often they are used and regular maintenance. If a board gets maintained, the bearings cleaned and greased and everything checked regularly this board can last for a very long.

The Krown Rasta City Surf Longboard Skateboard would be an ideal choice for you if you are looking for a high-performance board that allows you to do lots of great tricks and which has beautiful graphics to go with it. It is stable, fast and is designed with a grip tape for the best foot placement. The nice Rasta graphics can offer an ego boost if you are commuting to campus or just going about your errands.
